In 2006 Star Wars Action News spun-off its first show dedicated specifically to Star Wars fiction novels, the Star Wars Action News Book Club. 

Book Club listeners join together on the Star Wars Action News forums to read the Star Wars novels in order of their release, and then discuss and review the books in this podcast.

These podcasts also feature interviews with Star Wars authors such as Alan Dean Foster, Donald Glut, L. Neil Smith, James Kahn, Timothy Zahn, and others.
