Comic books are mass media entertainment.  Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Wanted, The Dark Knight, and other comic book movies dominate the box office.  In 2008 Venganza Media launched their own internet podcast, Comicpocalypse.

Hosted by Jakob Brewster, Comicpocalypse was focused on independant comics while not ignoring comics from Dark Horse, Image, DC, and Marvel.

In one of its first episodes Jakob interviewed comic writer Harvey Pekar, and coming soon is an interview with Robert Englund, voice of The Vulture on WB’s Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon.

Comicpocalypse went on hiatus in late 2008 and shall return in a revamped format later.
