Cars and monsters. It sounds like a perfectly easy formula for a kid’s movie. Kids love cars. Kids love monsters. And yet Monster Trucks became a monstrous loss for studio Paramount Pictures, who took a $115 million loss before the film even came out. Is it truly one of the worst films of all time, or is its hideous reputation undeserved?
