Attack the Block

On the surface, Attack the Block may not have a lot in common with Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. However this sci-fi horror comedy film does come from Edgar Wright, marking the first time the director produced a film he did not direct. And directing the film is Joe Cornish, Wright’s co-writer on the Steven Spielberg film The Adventures of Tintin. With several other Wright collaborators behind the screen and Nick Frost in a prominent role, does Attack the Block measure up to Wright’s other productions, or will Arnie, Stuart, and Jakob attack the film?
